South Korea defeated a valiant Sri Lanka side 38-34 in a keenly contested Asia Rugby Men’s Championship 2025 encounter at the Race Course stadium in Colombo this evening.
South Korea’s heavier forwards ultimately made the difference against the Lankan side who struggled at scrums.
The Koreans went on to score six tries while the Lankans touched down five times in addition to the penalty.
Sri Lanka had a surprising 17-14 lead at lemons.
Next week, Sri Lanka will travel to Hong Kong for the second game of the Asia Rugby Men’s Championship 2025.
