The FIFA World Cup International Friendly Series match between Sri Lanka and Brunei will take place tomorrow at the Bangkok National Stadium in Thailand.
Sri Lanka’s football team has just completed a successful two-week training camp in Bangkok ahead of the encounter. The team is expected to field a full-strength squad, aiming for a positive result to improve their standing in the FIFA World Rankings.
Currently, Sri Lanka is ranked 200th in the FIFA rankings, while Brunei holds the 185th position. Historically, the two teams have met three times, with Sri Lanka winning once in 2009 (5-1) and Brunei winning two matches, both 1-0.
