Dinara de Silva and Githmi Fernando qualified to the semi-finals of the 110th Colombo Tennis Championship Women’s Singles event when they came out on top in the quarter-final encounters played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.
Dinara overcame Gehansa Nethnadi while Githmi got the better of Aroshi Thomas by the identical winning margin of two sets to nil.
Meanwhile, in the Mixed Doubles event the pair of Apna Perera and Inuki Jayaweera recorded back-to- back wins to qualify to the quarter-finals. The championship will be continued today.

Mixed Doubles:
