Sri Lanka Health Sports Club defeated Sri Lanka Customs by 19 runs in the final of the Sri Lanka State Services ‘B’ Division Cricket Tournament, played at Godigamuwa.
After choosing to bat first, Sri Lanka Health posted a competitive total of 222 in 45.3 overs, thanks to key contributions from Tharindu Jayasinghe (52), Chamil Madushanka (33), and captain Chandana Dhanapala (30). Malshan Perera was the pick of the bowlers for Customs, securing four wickets for 34 runs.
In response, Sandun Prasanna and Neil de Silva led the attack with a combined total of seven wickets, helping restrict Sri Lanka Customs to 203 in 46.3 overs. Manoj Samarasekera fought hard with a well-compiled 65 off 100 balls, while Liyon Madushan contributed 45 from 51 deliveries.
