Among the highlights, Kate Siyaguna and Shenalie Weerasekara emerged as stars of the tournament, clinching the Women’s Doubles ‘A’ title with remarkable synergy and determination.
The dynamic duo delivered a masterclass in skill and coordination, ultimately defeating Anoushka Boralessa and Upeka Wijerathna in a gripping final. Their victory was celebrated in style as Dumith Fernando, Chairman of Asia Securities Private Limited, personally presented the championship trophy to the elated winners.
The tournament, held in a festive and competitive atmosphere, attracted top padel talent and enthusiastic spectators from across Sri Lanka. Played on the state-of-the-art courts at CR & FC, one of the premier venues for padel in the country, the event featured several fiercely contested categories, including Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles divisions.
