Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 57 runs to lead T20I cricket series

Pakistan registered a 57-run win over Bangladesh in the second T20 international of the three-match series held at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, taking a 2–0 unassailable lead in the series.

Batting first, Pakistan put up a strong total thanks to a brilliant knock by Sahibzada Farhan, who scored 74 off 41 balls, and a quick-fire 51 off 26 balls from Hasan Nawaz.

In the bowling department, Hasan Mahmud and Tanzim Hasan Sakib claimed two wickets each for Bangladesh, but it wasn’t enough to restrict Pakistan’s scoring momentum.

Bangladesh, in reply, failed to chase the target and fell short by 57 runs, giving Pakistan a convincing win and the series lead.
