Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the Emerging Team squad for the upcoming tour of the West Indies in June 2025, appointing all-rounder Dhananjaya Lakshan as captain. The 18-member squad features several standout performers from recent domestic competitions, including Janishka Perera, Ahan Wickramasinghe, Dilum Sudeera, Shevon Daniel, and Ravindu Rasantha. The tour will comprise two four-day matches and three One-Day Internationals, providing a platform for these young talents to gain international experience.
