Roshan Gunawardena has been unanimously elected as the new President of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) for the 2025–2027 term. His appointment was confirmed at the Annual General Meeting held on May 24 at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo. A long-time official in SLB, Gunawardena previously served as Vice President and Chairman of the Regional Development Committee. He succeeds Rohan de Silva, who now serves as Immediate Past President.
