Over 350 veteran shuttlers from around the world are set to take the court at the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championship 2025, scheduled to be held from June 6th to 9th in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The prestigious tournament, hosted annually by Ceylon Masters Badminton, will take place at St. Joseph’s College Badminton Courts, with matches beginning daily at 9:00 AM. The event will feature a total prize pool of USD 10,000, drawing top talent from leading badminton-playing nations.
This flagship event is conducted in line with Badminton World Federation (BWF) regulations and will see athletes aged 35 and above competing across multiple age categories—from Over-35 to Over-75—in Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles, as well as combined age events (100+, 110+, 120+, 130+, 140+).
The tournament schedule includes:
- Preliminary rounds on June 6th & 7th
- Quarter-finals and Semi-finals on June 8th
- Finals on June 9th
With the participation of former international badminton stars, the Ceylon Masters has grown into a fan-favorite event that blends competitive excellence with a showcase of veteran talent.
