Thurstan College registered a four wicket win against Isipathana College in their 18th T/20 “Battle of Brothers” Cricket encounter 2025, played for the Priya Paranavithana Challenge Trophy, hosted by the Isipathana College Old Boys Association, which took place at the BRC grounds recently.

Isipathana College batting first, wickets fell at regular intervals (13), (19), (44), (68), (79), (81), (90), (106), (110), and (113).
Savindu Dissanayake and Yovun Silpa captured 3 wickets each, Thanuga Palihawadana, Vihas Thewmika, and Sathru Fernando captured a wicket each was able to restrict Isipathana College to 113 runs. Ranmith Senarath stroked a gallant on 24 runs and Dasith Senal remained unbeaten 17 runs. A solid partnership of 50 runs for the 7th wicket between Thanuga Palihawadana who stroked a brilliant 29 runs not out and with the support of Damitha Rukshan, the pair together saw going past the winning total with 9 balls to spare. Sanija Rahal captured 2 wickets, Dasith Senal, Maleesha Sandaruwan, and Navindu Hettiarachchige Hettiarachchige captured a wicket each, were the pick of bowlers for Isipathana College.
