Next on the calendar is the World Athletics Relays, to be held in Guangzhou, China. Sri Lanka has fielded a strong lineup in the 4x400m mixed relay, a format that has grown in popularity and competitive significance in recent years.
The six-member team includes:

- Sadew Rajakaruna
- Nishendra Fernando
- Sayuri Mendis
- Nadeesha Ramanayake
The team is under the guidance of Coach W.G.M. Thushara and will depart on Tuesday, May 8, with the final time of departure to be announced soon.
