The visiting Bangladesh Under-19 side prevailed by 39 runs on the DL method in the third Youth ODI match played at the Colts Ground in Colombo to take a 2-1 lead in the six-match series.
The match was hampered by rain with Bangladesh Under-19 taking first lease being able to face only 28 overs. Helped by an unbeaten knock of 67 by Skipper Azizul Hakim they ended with a score of 144 for two.
Sri Lanka Under-19 left with a daunting revised target of 198 runs from 28 overs, fell into deep trouble.
They lost their top five wickets cheaply with the score at 51 in the 11th over and were 120 for seven when play was stopped due to bad light.
