The resilient Oman National Hockey team clinched their maiden Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) Cup title after defeating Chinese Taipei 4-3 in the gold medal match. Champions of the last tournament, Bangladesh, trounced Kazakhstan 3-0 to win the bronze medal match.
